These terms govern your use of Permit Passport, published by Utility Forces LLC and made by Jim Does It.
Owner-maintained records
Permit Passport helps you organize information and files that you enter or select. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, ownership, and appropriate use of that material. Keep your own copies of records that are important to you.
No official status or professional advice: Permit Passport is not affiliated with a building department or other government agency. It does not verify a permit, perform an inspection, certify code compliance, provide legal or professional advice, or determine that a permit is officially closed.
Use of the app
You may use Permit Passport for lawful personal or business project documentation. Do not use it to misrepresent an inspection, forge or alter an official document, impersonate another person, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, distribute malware, or interfere with the app or its services.
iCloud and device storage
Permit Passport saves locally and can use Apple’s iCloud and Keychain services for private restore. Availability, timing, storage limits, and Apple Account access depend on Apple and your settings. Synchronization and restoration are not guaranteed to occur instantly or without interruption. You are responsible for maintaining device access and any additional copies appropriate for your project.
Exports
You control which evidence is exported and where it is sent. An exported binder or manifest reflects the owner-maintained information available to the app; it is not an official municipal record, title report, compliance certificate, warranty, or substitute for the issuing authority’s records.
Subscriptions
Permit Passport Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple. The price, billing period, trial eligibility, and renewal terms shown by the App Store at confirmation control your purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A subscription renews unless canceled through your Apple Account within Apple’s required period before renewal. Restore Purchases can refresh an existing entitlement. Ending Pro does not delete or hide existing records.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, improve, replace, or discontinue features. We aim to preserve readable owner records across updates, but the app and website are provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Utility Forces LLC disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the app.
Apple terms
Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Permit Passport. Your use is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement.
